Analytics

Analytics shows how your events are performing across everything you have access to, rather than one event at a time. Use it to compare periods, see how many of the guests you add actually turn up and understand who is bringing them.

The page covers check-in rates, how guest additions and check-ins develop over time, when guests arrive and where invitation signups come from. For figures from one event, see View event analytics.

Note: Analytics includes guest data you have the View guests permission for and guests you added yourself. Learn more about Permissions.

Steps to view analytics

  1. Go to Analytics (main menu)
  2. Select the period at the top left
  3. Select More to limit the figures to specific venues

To remove the venue filter, select More > Reset.

Understand the period

The selected period applies to all charts on the page. Charts about additions, invitation signups, estimated gender and check-in rate use when guests were added. Check-in charts use when guests were checked in.

The chart interval is selected automatically according to the length of the period.

Understand tickets, names and breakdowns

Charts with selectors next to their title can count either tickets or names. A guest added as John Smith +2 counts as three tickets and one name.

Use the other selector to break the chart down by the available category. The choices depend on the chart and whether you are counting tickets or names.

Understand estimated data

Gender is estimated from each guest's name. Names without a reliable estimate, including privacy-protected small groups, remain Undetermined. The chart is shown only when Gender estimation is enabled.

Note: You need the Admin permission on the account to change Gender estimation. Learn more about Permissions.

Steps to disable gender estimation

  1. Go to Settings (main menu) > Account > Permissions
  2. Select Everyone to disable it for the account, or select an individual user
  3. Set Gender estimation to Disabled
  4. Select Save

Signup country and city are estimated from the signup IP address. Signups without a detected location and groups that are too small to show separately are included under Other.

Data freshness

Analytics figures refresh periodically. The current refresh interval and the time of the latest refresh are shown at the top of the page.
