Auto messages are emails sent when something happens in your event, so you don't have to send confirmations by hand. A typical use is emailing each guest their ticket or guest confirmation as soon as they are added.
Each auto message combines a trigger (what starts it), recipients (who it goes to), an optional attachment, and the subject and message to send. Subject and message can include variables, so every recipient gets their own details.
To set up auto messages, you need the Admin permission on the event. Learn more about Permissions.
NoteAuto messages: available on the Professional plan.
WarningAutomatic sending applies only to guests added after the message is created, and only while the event is ongoing or upcoming. To send to an existing guest, follow the manual steps below.
TipBefore your event, test the auto message by adding yourself as a guest with your own email address, and check how the email and its attachment arrive.
Deleting an auto message does not affect emails already sent.
You can send an auto message to a guest who is already on a list, or send it again after correcting their email address. You need the Admin permission on the event and the guest list.
The section appears only when you're online and at least one auto message is enabled. It is titled Auto message when one is enabled, or Auto messages when several are enabled. Only enabled auto messages are available. Manual sending ignores automatic trigger conditions, so it also works after the event ends and for guests outside the trigger's guest-list or invitation restrictions. Changing the email here does not update the guest's saved details. Other configured recipients receive it only when selected under Additional recipients.

Each selected message is sent for each matching guest. Selected fixed recipients receive a separate personalized message for each guest. A notification shows how many messages were sent and how many were skipped because no valid recipient was found.

Copying and sharing work without a guest email address. They include the personalized text and links, including any guest confirmation link in the message. Email attachments are not included, and Attendium does not send an email. Share appears only when the device supports native sharing.
