Configure ticketing and QR codes to manage event payments and streamline check-in processes. You can sell tickets with or without QR codes, maintaining flexibility for different event styles.
Each guest list appears in the Ticketing & QR settings. For each list, you can set:
These settings automatically apply across your event. For example, when using Invitations, guests on lists with prices will be asked to pay, while those on free lists won't.
Note: Missing guest lists? See Edit event guest lists.
By default, no QR codes are enabled. You can sell tickets without QR codes for a more personal check-in experience using names and IDs.
1 QR code per guest & guest list — Groups receive a single QR code regardless of ticket quantity. When John Smith registers for 3 tickets, he gets 1 QR code. Scanning selects the guest, then you manually check in their tickets. Ideal when groups arrive together.
1 QR code per ticket — Traditional ticketing approach. John Smith +2 receives 3 separate QR codes. Each code automatically checks in one ticket when scanned. Best for events where attendees may arrive separately.
No QR codes — Maintain personal check-in by name without QR codes while still managing ticket sales and payments.
You can enable QR codes on free guest lists. The codes will appear in Guest confirmations, invitation confirmations, and other communications without requiring payment setup.
