Event templates help you efficiently manage recurring events that share the same structure. Instead of manually recreating guest lists, custom fields, and permissions for each event, you can define them once in a template and reuse that structure across multiple events. When you update a template, all events using that template automatically inherit the changes—particularly powerful for permissions management when you have many collaborators.
Templates follow a simple principle: changes to a template can update the structure and permissions of events, but never delete guest data. If you delete a guest list from a template, it only removes that list from templated events if the list is empty. Renaming a field in a template updates it across all templated events and existing guest data, while deleting a field removes it from events but preserves the guest data already entered.
