To sell tickets, connect your Attendium account to an account with a payment service provider, such as Stripe. Payments go to that account, and Attendium deducts its fees from your revenue. You also choose the currency for your ticket prices and define the tax rates you can apply to them.
To set up payments, you need the Admin permission on the account. Learn more about Permissions.
If you leave the registration before it is done, the account shows "The registration was not completed for this payment service provider." Select Complete registration to continue where you left off.
To connect another account, select Add account and then the payment service provider.
Once a connected account has completed registration, Currency and Tax options appear on Receive payments.
Each connected account lists the Transaction fee charged by the payment service provider and the Service fee charged by Attendium per sold ticket. Select View info next to a fee for details. Both fees are deducted from your revenue, shown as Absorb (deduct from your revenue), so they are not added to the ticket price your guests pay.
NoteChanging currency only affects events that have no prices set and no sales.
Tax rates are not added to tickets automatically. You define the rates here and then pick one per guest list when you set ticket prices in your event.
To remove a tax rate, select More next to it, then Delete, and then Save.
Once an account is connected, select it under Payment service provider in Events (main menu) > your event > Settings > Ticketing & QR, and set the price and tax per guest list. The last option in that list, Edit payment service provider, takes account admins back to Receive payments. See Manage event ticketing and QR codes.
